Lillian Leone of Pittsgrove, NJ died peacefully early on May 7, 2015. She was 88. Lillian came to the USA from Italy, when she was 5 years old with her mother and brother to reunite with her father who had gone ahead a couple years to get ready to bring his family. She moved to Vineland in the late 1940's and then to Pittsgrove in 1990. Lillian is survived by her three daughters; Toni Carol Spadaro of Williamstown, Mary Miranda Pilling and son in law Gary Pilling of Pittsgrove, Joan Farley of Somerdale, three grandsons; Brian Spadaro, Daniel Pilling, Michael Miranda and her two great grandchildren; Norah Jane Pilling and Nathaniel Pilling. She enjoyed family get togethers and loved being a grandmother and great grandmother, helping in the raising of her three grandsons. She spent the last several years as a regular client at the Fitness Connection of Vineland where she exercised 3 days a week. Lillian also enjoyed going to the Rosenhayn Senior Center on Landis Avenue, Rosenhayn on Mondays through Thursdays with her best friend, Doris Martorana. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11am at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Interment of ashes will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland. Family and friends may gather on Monday from 10am to 11am at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the disabled veterans on line at https://www.dav.org or through mail at DAV, PO Box 14301 Cincinnati, Ohio 45250-0301.
