MARY CALCAGNINI 91, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2015 in Cape Regional Medical Center, Cape May Courthouse, NJ. Mary was born on November 17, 1923 in New York and resided in Buena, NJ for many years. She was the wife of the late Mario Calcagnini who died in 2001. Mary was a whip stitch operator and homemaker. She later did private care for seniors. Mary loved cooking, being with her family, watching classic movies and trips to the casino. She will be remembered mostly for her great sense of humor and her ability to make people laugh. She is survived by her son, Kenneth Calcagnini and wife, Kathleen; son, Dennis Calcagnini and his wife Mindy, and daughter, Yvonne Kalla and her husband, Alex. She has four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mary also has 2 surviving sisters, Lucy Cammorato and Antoinette Lapano, and one brother Joseph Fiore who she always had a special relationship with. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews including Vito Carbonaro. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, May 8, 2015 at 1:30pm at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Parish, St. Michael’s Church, Minotola. Mary will be laid to rest in Siloam Cemetery, Vineland. Family and friends will be received on Friday at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland from 11am to 1pm.
