Obituary of Maria V. Montalvo

Maria Montalvo, 89 of Vineland was called by our Lord and Savior on February 1, 2015. The first day of the month of Love this beautiful woman, surrounded by her loving and devoted family, was reunited with her Celestial Father and with her departed family. Grandmother, your strength as mother of our mothers and our fathers, is the same we seek to have in raising your grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Look proudly upon everything you gave birth to on this earth with your advice and your grace. Your age is not in numbers but in the happy moments, and laughter you created. Your husband will say, "I bless that great day when I first saw you I won the lottery when I met you." For dear, those who were bound together by love on this earth will also be especially close in Heaven. The law of the land is death; the law of Heaven is the Celestial reunion. Maria is survived by her spouse, Daniel Montalvo, and her children, Gilberto Moreno, Carmen Soto-Moreno, Anibal Moreno, Maria Latorre, Adelaida Moreno and Nancy Velez. She is predeceased by her daughter, Generosa Moreno. She leaves behind seventeen grandchildren and twenty three great grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday at 10am at Divine Mercy Parish, St. Francis of Assisi Church, Vineland. Entombment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 5th at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland from 6pm to 8pm and again on Friday morning at the CHURCH from 9am to 9:45am.
