Obituary of Dennis L. Pearce

Dennis Lee Pearce, 70 of Vineland, passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2014 at home after an extended illness. Dennis was born on June 23, 1944 in Vineland. He attended and graduated from Clayton High School. Thirty eight years ago, he married Kathleen Pearce (Finn), and together they had 6 children; Shane (wife Jennifer), Cory (wife Lauren), Darren (wife Marcia), Kerrilee, Erin (husband Matthew Hinkel), and Blair. Dennis worked as a computer systems manager at Prudential, Business Software Solutions, and Information Systems Management. In addition, he recently worked for Boscovs. He took great pride in his work and dedicated himself to his family. He served as a leader of Cub Scout and Boy Scout pack 36 for several years. In addition, he coached several softball, baseball, T-ball and Sacred Heart track teams over the years. Dennis is survived by his wife and children, a brother, Roger Pearce (wife Jane), a sister, Cheryl Pearce , grandchildren; Madison Pearce, Elizabeth Pearce, Jordan Hinkel, Riley Pearce, Briana Hinkel, Makaila Pearce, and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded by his parents, Esther and Howard, sister Sandy, and brother Keith. A funeral Liturgy will be held on Saturday at 11am at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, St. Isidore's Church, 1655 Magnolia Road, Vineland. Burial will be private. Friends and family will be received on Friday evening from 6pm to 8pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland and again on Saturday at the CHURCH from 10am to 10:45am.
