Obituary of David G. Blomgren

David G. Blomgren, 88, of Buena, passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at the Lincoln Specialty Care Center, Vineland. Born in Philadelphia, PA, David enjoyed spending time with all of his family especially around the holidays. He was an avid fan of the Opera & enjoyed listening to the Opera at home. David also enjoyed going to his weekly Opera club where they listened to various Operas then afterwards it was followed up by an in-depth discussion. He was also a connoisseur of fine wines & cheeses. David is predeceased by his wife Margaret (Mulhern) Blomgren. David was the loving father of Dorothy (Wayne) Matolich, Rodger (Mildred) Blomgren, & William Blomgren, he is also survived by four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, two sisters and a brother. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 1pm at the DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. David will be laid to rest at the Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery in Mays Landing. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 12pm to 1pm at the funeral home.
